52 Knits // Striped Mug Hug

December 22, 2012

MBP_5191

Yarn Used: worsted weight leftovers
Needles: 4mm DPNs
Modifications: none

Note: A friend of mine found the pattern on revelry and recommended it. I’m really glad she did because it was so much fun to make! Knitting this coffee sleeve only took me an hour – including weaving in all the strands.

I used the jogless stripes technique to get nice, smooth stripes.
Round 1: knit all stitches using the new color
Round 2: slip the first stitch, knit around
Round 3: Knit around

Wow! 52 knits in one year. That is crazy.

I do love that name though. Mug hug. I think I might have to make a hug for my mug.
